California Wing’s new email/collaboration system is now live! Follow the instructions below to set up your account.

All members, both Seniors and Cadets, now have their own email address.

Cadets must have a CADET PARENT EMAIL listed in eServices for their account to be activated.

1. Log in to eServices.
2. Go to My Account > Contacts


3. If you already have a CADET PARENT EMAIL listed, your account is ready and you can skip to Step 2.
4. Add your parent’s email address in the “Add new contact” section:


5. Click “Save New Contact”. Your account will be activated within 24 hours. You may still move on to Step 2.

**Parents will receive a copy of every email sent to the cadet’s email address. This is done to comply with CAP’s Cadet Protection Policy. Parents who DO NOT wish to receive a copy of each email, but DO want to allow their cadet access, can opt out by contacting the Squadron Commander or emailing**

1. Your Office 365 login credentials should be sent to your email registered in eServices. Use this information for Step 3.
2. If you have not received your login credentials, go to and create a trouble ticket including your CAP ID, requesting your Office 365 login information. A new email will be sent to you.

2. Sign in using the information provided to you in the email sent by CAWG IT Director: email address & temporary password:


3. You must change your password on the next screen. Re-enter your temporary password where it says “Current Password”. Create your new password, you need to enter it twice.

**Keep in mind: This system will require you to change your password periodically, just like eServices.**

4. Once completed, sign into your account again with your new password.
5. Add an Authorization Email or set your Security Questions (only need to choose one method):

Authorization Email: Another email address you own, this will send a verification code to that email address.
Security Questions: Answers to three questions you choose.
These methods allow you to access your account if you ever forget your password.

5. Activate your account and go to Step 5.

1. In Office 365, click the gear icon in the upper-right corner to access your settings. Click “Options”.


2. On the left side menu, click “Email Signature” under Mail > Layout.


3. Choose whether to include your email signature on every new message and/or every forward/reply message.
4. Copy and paste the CAP example email signature block: Click here.
5. Edit the signature block with your information.
6. Click “Save”.
7. Go to Step 6 (Optional).

1. In eServices > My Account > Contacts, add your new email address as type PRIMARY.
2. Edit your existing or personal email address to type SECONDARY.

1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contact, Calendars > Add Account.
2. Choose “Exchange”.


3. Enter your CAWG Office 365 email address and password:


4. Select Next. Your device should automatically set up your account.
5. Choose whether to sync just Mail, or also Calendar, Contacts, etc.
6. Select Done. Remember to set up your email signature on your device as well.


Once finished, explore your new Office 365 environment. You now have access to Word Online, Excel Online, OneDrive and many more features.
